Lake Tahoe
The end of January is a nice time for a visit to Lake Tahoe.  My new friend Jeff as a cabin up here in Carnelian Bay.

Squa Valley
On Sunday we took to the slopes and got a great day of skiing in.

After the day of skiing we continued into the night skiing.

This is the mantel of the fireplace at the Cal Neva casino, half in California and half in Nevada.

This is The Indian Room at the Cal Neva.  And this is the state line running right down the middle.

Cal Neva front
This is the sign to look for at the side of the road.  The Cal Neva is one of the old school casinos.  Most of the famous people of the 40s-70s performed here.  Frank Sinatra even owned it for a couple of years back in the 60s.
