This is Honolua Bay on the North West side of Maui. This is diving day for the adventurers. There was a bit of a schlep to get our gear down to the water but the sights below are well worth it. |

It was Green Sea Turtle day in Honolua Bay. I think they like having their picture taken. They seem to pose for the camera. |

I could hardly turn around and not see another turtle. We were there in the morning and most of them were sleeping in the coral. At one time we floated up above the reef a few feet and saw at least five turtles all sleeping in the rocks. |

So many that Dave came across 2 right next to each other. |

Even the Cactus was posing with the turtles. It is probably a green thing. |

This guy hiding in the rocks is a Hawksbill Turtle. They are a bit more rare than the Green Sea Turtles. |

Dave even found an octopus on this dive. That is a octopus for Dave on almost every dive we did together. This was by far the best dive we have done on Maui so far. |
