plain building
This is the warehouse we were working in.  This would be the front side because this is where the troops would come in and the buses would drop off the crew in the morning.  Just to the right of our building is 510.  That warehouse had been converted into temporary barracks for troops returning from Iraq.  Many of these soldiers got to see our show.

formation
In the morning some of the troops would form up right outside.  There is a steady-cam camera man taking their picture from the left.  We did lots and lots of shots and stories about life here in Arifjan. Stories about how the troops are doing , some of the fun activities they can participate in, and some of their on post and intra post sport teams.  They would play football and soccer at the crack of dawn before it got to hot.

to hot
Here it is, just a little warm.  The day we took this picture in the sun it is about 130 f.  One time I did see the thermometer wrapped all the way around to the -60 mark.  At night when we arrived it was a pleasant 80 f. Then by 10am it was up over 100 f.   When I was packing up my gear the last day I measured some of the boxes that had been sitting in the sun, they were 80c or 160f.  I could hardly touch them to open them.

tank
Here is the tank when it came over just before it was parked inside the building.
Some people in the crew got rides, I was so busy with my setup all I got was this picture.
