This is the first day of the games.  We were sent to a hill overlooking I-80 to report on the traffic.  The first picture is our camera man Ken and the sound guy Robert kneeling beside him at his mixer.  Larry the driver is holding the C-stand and Sara James is reporting on traffic in her red jacket.  I-80 and turn off to Park City and most of the alpine venues are directly behind her.  The big white thing above her head is a white flag it helps with lighting.  Larry is holding it.  It makes Sara look better on camera.  The second picture is the small dirt road we traveled down to reach this "scenic over look."  This road is an access road to some water towers.  The sat truck made it down the road, and out just fine.

Second row Robert the sound guy holds olympic rings he carven in the crusty snow.  We had an abundance of stand by time.  I was inspired with olympic spirit and carved my name in the snow also.  Then I ate it.

After we finished our live shot on the hill we rolled down to Main Street in Park City.  Copper a mascot  had a quick dance with Ken.  The fearless crew came across the Jamacan bobsled team store.  This sled was used in the Nagano games in 98.  We all climbed in and took the picture.  Larry is in front driving, across the back is Ken on the left, Jeff, and Robert pushing on the right.
