Australia Zoo

Today we stopped to visit all the animals we missed seeing along the trip.  The Australia Zoo is in south Queensland.  Steve Irwin the world famous Crocodile Hunter is the Director of thes zoo.  He was not at the zoo this day.

Harriet the Giant Galapagos Land Tortoise was fairly excited about the buffet of salad at feeding time.



I found this sign very amusing and informative infront of all the crocodile pens.  Then I switched to film and took a couple more pictures of the crocs but it was fairly cold and the crocs were not very exciting.



This is a Cassowary.  That thing on its head is a big bone. We also saw snakes, wallabies, jabiru, wombats, and of course koala.
