Well our coach tour has ended but Nina, the cactus, and I have a few days in the big city. First we set out to see the Sydney harbor bridge. It was so impressive it inspired us to swipe our credit cards and climb the thing. After a good hour of being chained to the bridge on this beautiful day we climbed the tower on the left side. On the bridge climb we are not allowed to bring anything up there with us. Everybody had to leave their cameras, wallets, binoculars, purses, combs, change, and anything else that could get loose at the bottom. After we climbed the bridge we took a boat cruise around the harbor. This group of bridge climbers, is not our group but is is what our group looks like climbing the bridge. Our climb started at the far far left end, by the Opera house(in the top picture). Then up the top side of the main arch. At the top of the bridge at the flag we crossed over the bridge and went down the far side back to the left.
It had hardly been a day since we departed the coach when we met the Carter family on our harbor cruise. Then we all met up for dinner at the not so famous B.B.Q. King chinese restaurant. Ever since Cactus Jack made him self known he has been looking for a hat. Laura in a stroke of excellent shopping found just the right hat. This tourist cranium cap comes complete with dandling corks to keep the flies away.
